WoodBerry Woodlands - Beth and Cath

IF YOU’RE PLANNING A WEDDING AT WOODBERRY WETLANDS IN LONDON, YOU’LL LOVE THIS WEDDING FOR INSPIRATION!

Beth and Cath got married at Stoke Newington Town Hall in London with spectacular décor and design. It was such a happy day, and even the weather played ball!

The Wedding

The ceremony was a wonderful service in a beautiful town hall in North London. During the ceremony, they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was lovely and also emotional for everyone attending. After the service, everyone celebrated the newlyweds with summery yellow confetti showers!

The Reception

On arrival to Woodberry Wetlands, I took Beth and Cath for a stroll around the like to take their couple portraits. Oh, they were so cute! Just as we have finished, the guests have already arrived on the grounds, only in time for prosecco o’clock!

WoodBerry Wetlands is really peaceful and secluded and is one of the loveliest places to get married and/or hold your wedding reception in London. The venue offers a marquee – and there so many incredible backdrops that are perfect for photos. A place like no other!

After the meal and many hilarious speeches, it was time for the evening party to kick off. The first dance was accompanied by a live band which was so good they have kept the dancefloor busy till the very end of the night!

If you are planning to have your wedding at WoodBerry Wetlands and are still looking for your person to create and preserve those precious memories, let’s talk straight away! I am already taking bookings for 2022 and got even some dates left for 2021. I look forward to hearing all those fantastic plans and ideas you have for your WoodBerry Wetlands wedding day!

Cheryl and Jonny at Lythe Hill Hotel

LYTHE HILL HOTEL WEDDING | HERTFORDSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | KAY ZIEBA PHOTOGRAPHY

Cheryl and Jonny got married at Lythe Hill Hotel, which is a modern hotel in Haslemere with a lake view. It was such a fun day, and the sun shone all day long!

I have met Cheryl and the girls in the morning at the Lythe Hill Hotel Haslemere in Surrey. They were just having a pleasant and relaxed morning full of giggles and prosecco to celebrate the perfect morning. Halfway through, little Darcy who’s been getting ready with Jonny came to keep us company in the final touch-ups. I think it is safe to say that she completely stole the show (Sorry Cheryl!! :).

The ceremony

The wedding took place at St Mary’s Church, which was only a short drive away. Cheryl arrived with her dad, and the ceremony began. She had the most outstanding gown I have ever seen from Morilee by Madeline Gardner. Jonny scrubbed well too, and both of them just looked incredible. After they have promised to love each other forever and ever, their guests have welcomed the newlyweds with confetti showers!

The reception

For the wedding reception, we have all returned to the Lythe Hill Hotel in Haslemere, which was beautifully decorated with pink blush details.

The day was gorgeous with the sun shining all day. Just perfect for the welcome drinks by the lake.

Right after the dinner, I’ve spotted the most amazing light (Hello golden hour!), and I couldn’t resist it but to take Cheryl and Jonny our for their couple portraits! I must admit it was the best thing we did. The light was so warm and beautiful with sun flares. Just perfect.

The evening kicked off with cutting the most epic cake to the date and the first dance, which was a good old traditional wedding shuffle. They finished off the night with lots of crazy dancing and air guitar shows!

Thank you Sophie who second shoot for me on the day! You were amazing !

Milling Barn Wedding Kay Zieba Photography

Milling Barn Wedding in Autumn

MILLING BARN WEDDING | HERTFORDSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | KAY ZIEBA PHOTOGRAPHY

Emma and Lee got married in October at the beautiful Milling Barn. It is one of the most beloved Hertfordshire Wedding venues – in Throcking, near Buntingford. They have planned to have this very relaxed reception with a great party in the evening.

Getting ready

I have met the girls in the morning at Milling Barn’s Bridal Suite in their full swing of getting ready. Emma was just having her make up done, and the girls were mingling about. Lee and this team got ready at Bell Bridge House. It was a relaxed morning for them too, and it was only 5 minutes away from their wedding venue.

The ceremony

Their ceremony at the Dairy Barn was beautiful and sweet. I loved all the little deco details from petals on the floor to the ivy and fairy lights on the wooden ceiling panels. During the service their little, Florence came to join them to make sure her parents do their part correctly. This was absolutely heart-melting.

The reception

After the ceremony, we have welcomed the newlyweds with confetti showers. The reception took place inside the Milling Barn, decorated in a rustic style which is just perfect for the interiors. On the balcony, they also had colossal L O V E letters, it all looked and felt so romantic. After the meal, we sneaked for the golden hour warm lights portraits which was a fantastic call. We have managed to take stunning photographs which I think they will cherish for a long time.

During the speeches, everybody cried from laughter. Every single talk was so special and personal. The evening started with a round of shots for the guest, dreamy first dance and the bouquet toss.

A super cute Tewin Bury Farm Wedding

A SUPER CUTE TEWIN BURY FARM WEDDING

I was super excited when Steph and Matt have emailed me regarding their wedding at Tewin Bury Farm. They were after having a very relaxing day, surrounded by their best friends and family. Oh, and I was offered half of the cake, which I obviously couldn’t resist! (No cake got hurt – I promise!)

Tewin Bury Farm Wedding Day

I’ve met Stephanie and the girls at Tewin Bury Farm just in time to capture all the pretty details and Steph getting ready. I was such a warm and beautiful day, just perfect for them. Her amazing bridesmaids helped Steph to put her stunning silver wedding dress on. Oh, It was just one of a kind! Once all dressed and ready, her two beautiful little boys popped by to say hello. Step’s dad then came over, perfectly timed to give his daughter away.

The ceremony

They have opted for their ceremony to take place at Tewin Bury Farm’s Garden. It was a beautiful service with a heartwarming reading. They have also asked one of their sons to be their ring bearer – super cute if you ask me! After the ceremony, Steph and Matt walked down the aisle together followed by the bridal party and said their hello’s to everyone. Let’s also not forget the confetti magic!

The reception

The wedding reception took place at the Stable Barn at Tewin Bury Farm, all decorated with personal photographs and gypsophila flowers and rustic ornaments. Steph and Matt have really made the barn look amazing and cosy, which was everything they have hoped for.

We have done all the formal (and not so formal) photos quickly to let Steph and Matt hang out with their guests and enjoy The music played by Bridge Strings.

Straight after everyone was called in to sit down, the guests have welcomed the newlyweds, and the speeches have started. All the funny stories which made everybody giggle a lot! After the meal, we have snacked out for couple portraits with just the two of them, but it wasn’t too long before the bridal crew found us and joined in!

After we have got back, it was the time to cut the wedding cake and start off the party with Mr and Mrs Brynjolfsson First dance! The dance floor was on fire!

Cotswolds wedding at Blackwell Grange – Daniella and Karl

A SUPER HOT SUMMER WEDDING WITH CLOSE FRIENDS AND FAMILY AT BLACKWELL GRANGE

When Daniella and Karl first got in touch with me about their Blackwell Grange wedding in Cotswolds, I was so excited – they had a vision for their big day to be relaxed and full of fun and games! They seemed like the loveliest people, and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Getting ready

I rocked up at The Potting Shed at Blackwell Grange on the early morning of 25th July, where Daniella was getting prepared, and it was a real pleasure because everyone was in a good mood. Once she got ready, Daniella looked stunning and with remarkable hair and make-up looked almost like Daenerys from Games Of thrones! Karl and his crew decided to suit up at the comfort of Daniella and Karls brand new home, which was only a short drive away.

The ceremony

The wedding took place at Blackwell Grange, and it was such a romantic ceremony at their Thatch Barn. Daniella’s dad has walked her down the aisle with the veil over her face. It was a beautiful detail to go with her sequin dress. After the ceremony, they walked down the aisle together, and once they have left the barn, the confetti showers have taken place!

The reception

The wedding reception took place at the Orchard Barn at Blackwell Grange in Cotswolds, which they’d decorated with flowers and wooden ornaments. It was just pure beauty.
It was a beautifully sunny and warm day, which was everything the couple had wished for.

While the guests hung around drinking famous Pimm’s, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from our day portrait session is probably one in between the apple trees because is shows how perfect Daniella and Karl are for each other. During the golden hour, we have sneaked for those romantic and warm lights which the couple counted on!

During the reception, they had an amazing live guitarist singling all the great songs, and everyone loved them. After the meal there were a few speeches, then the couple had their first dance, and the DJ had kicked off the party.

Love and fun at Colville Hall with Milena and Jonathan

Colville Hall wedding full of love and happiness

Milena and Jonathan chose to have a church ceremony followed by Colville Hall wedding reception in Essex. Now I know it took me a while to catch up on all the beautiful weddings I shot last year; however, they are all worth the wait. Trust me on this. From the very first time when I’ve met with Milena and Jonny, I knew it was going to be epic!

Milena was getting ready with all her bridal party in a country house 5 minutes away from the church they have chosen. There was not one excuse to be late for the ceremony. Her two-piece gown – Jasmine, Noya collection – was designed by Riki Dalal, was absolutely amazing! I personally couldn’t stop looking at it. It was beautifully complemented by her beautiful bouquet made with pale pink roses.

The Ceremony

It was the most beautiful and warm day in Chelmsford, and the church of St Mary’s C of E couldn’t look more appealing. Milena and Jonathan have picked the best place to seal their marriage. The ceremony was beautiful, Jonny seemed so happy when Milena walked down the aisle escorted by her mum, the bridesmaids, pageboy and flower girl. It started by lighting up a candle in the memory of Milena’s father, who was no longer with us. Milena’s mother surprised everyone by doing her reading in both English and Polish language! It just made it more and more personal.

Colville Hall

The bright styled barn was beautifully decorated with flowers and rustic elements which perfectly matched Milena and Jonathan’s wedding theme. The Colville hall is surrounded by acres of fields which I had to use for the couple portraits. We were lucky enough to catch the sunset light coming from between trees, that has created the beautiful warm feel in the images. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The reception at Colville Hall went smooth with a prayer before the meal, beautiful speeches, both Milena and Jonathan could not stop laughing at everything the best man said. Milena’s mother has prepared her beautiful speech, telling us a story about how Milena has fallen in love with Jonny and how her 2-year stay in the UK had extended to a lifetime. The way she said it was so divine and carrying, you could quickly tell how much Milena means to her.

When the evening came, the cake was cut, and everyone has let their hair down. Friends of Milena and Jonathan gave them the best wedding gift of performing a live set and playing the best music the Collvile Hall has ever heard! It was an extra special treat for the newlyweds.

So, congratulations Milena and Jonathan. I hope you guys are still as crazy as when I have first met you!

Laura and Tyrone's Warbrook House wedding

Getting ready

Laura got ready at Warbrook House with her friends, and the atmosphere was absolutely exciting. When her dad came t see her before the ceremony if was full of emotional weeps. Tyrone also got ready at the estate with his mates, trying so hard not to run into Laura.

The ceremony

The ceremony was a special occasion at the Canal View room at Warbrook House. It was a beautiful place, full of history and distinguished interiors! The couple wrote their vows making their ceremony even more intimate. Now, I don’t have those vows with me; however, when I heard them, I could tell that these two are best friends. Just like a two-piece puzzle, they complete each other!. It was so personal and inspiring. There was an ocean of emotions and waves of feelings throughout the entire day, but over in abundance, it was full of love.

The reception

Warbrook House couldn’t have supplied better weather for the day, filled with warmness and sun rays, excellent for an outdoor drink’s reception. Laura and Tyrone’s happiness was contagious, and the entire congregation were full of smiles and laughter. Their beautiful personalities made our couple portraits so easy and natural — a perfect couple from dusk until dawn. I loved shooting weddings at Warbrook House because of their sophisticated grounds and location.

Their reception/ party rooms were decorated entirely with fairytale Disney details. The first dance was a good old traditional wedding shuffle followed by a father-daughter dance.

When the day was coming to a close, it was finally time for the sparkly send-off. And they lived happily ever after!

Lindy Hop moves at the Unicorn Cinema in Abington - Jenni and Nick

LINDY HOP MOVES AT THE UNICORN CINEMA IN ABINGDON – JENNY & NICK

The Unicorn cinema in Abingdon was a very different wedding venue I have photographed so far. The day has started a slightly grey and cloudy, but as the day went on, it has transformed into a gloriously warm and sunny spring day, making Abingdon the perfect place for some Oxford feel wedding.

The Unicorn Cinema

When I arrived on the morning of their wedding, I spotted Jenni and Nick still running around their beautiful reception part of the venue, adding the finishing touches – flowers, buntings, fairy lights and perfect little table decor details. All the flowers, including bouquets, ceremony and reception bunch, were made by the lovely Jenni and her bridesmaids! Both Jenni and Nick have put so much work to personalise this place; it made it even more special.

Jenni is a dance teacher and opted for a champagne mid-length dress to ease her boogie moves. It was a delicate lace matching her fair skin, exposing her red lips and rosy cheeks. Both of them looked incredibly stunning. Nick was so thrilled when he saw Jenni all dressed up for the first time.

To be as original as their location, they didn’t want the traditional ceremony entrance, and instead, they have made an appearance on the stage together, welcomed with warm greetings. And to add the cherry on top instead of confetti, we have had a colourful bubble tunnel. What else could you ask for?!

Their wedding was so beautiful and fun! After heartwarming speeches, intimate couple portraits, Jenni and Nick have surprised their guests with a ….. DANCE CLASS! Very original entertainment addition which heated the dancefloor in the later evening! They have started with learning moves of lindy hop, which lead straight into the first dance and delicious BBQ buffet!

Beautiful Spring wedding at Headstone Manor with Carly and Adam

BEAUTIFUL SPRING WEDDING AT HEADSTONE MANOR – CARLY AND ADAM

A super fun May wedding with singing waiters and Daleboy lookalike

Carly and Adam have picked a unique wedding venue. They have decided to tie the knot at the grounds of The Great Barn at Headstone Manor Gallery in Harrow. Opting for May wedding might be risky, but the weather couldn’t have been better!

Getting ready

I’ve met Carly and her girls in the morning at the great barn at Headstone Manor. Lucy, my second shooter, spent hers with Adam and his party. They were both very excited and nervous. She looked stunning with her glamorous makeup, curly hair and blush coloured wedding dress which matched perfectly with her bridesmaids grey gowns.

Headstone Manor

When guests have taken their seat inside the Headstone Manor, it was finally time for Carly and Adam to exchange their vows! Raw but beautiful is how I would describe it. Sometimes all your venue needs are tea lights hanging from the ceiling to impress everyone. Adam couldn’t wait to see Carly walking down the aisle, and when she did, all you could see was smile and excitement in his eyes.

It didn’t take long for everyone to gather outside the doors and welcome the newlyweds with confetti showers and Pimm’s (oh my favourite!). There were outside games, caricaturist and a sweet cart to entertain guests of all ages while were doing formal shots. While everyone sat down for the meal, Carly, Adam and I made the full use of empty grounds and went for the couple portraits.

It wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t mention the breathtaking singing waiter’s show! They entertained the crowd and warmed them up for evening celebrations by singing along and having a little sing-off-dance-off challenge! It was the perfect evening entertainment which swept everyone off their feet!

During Adam’s speech, we had a surprise appearance by the Del Boy look alike; which matched the Only Fools and Horses centrepieces! Everybody loved him, and the whole Harrow could hear their laughter!

It was a beautiful day which finished with all the guests sending off the married couple off with hundreds of sparklers lit up for their shiny exit!

Best of 2017

Best of 2017

I can honestly say that 2017 was one of the most amazing years I’d had so far! I was lucky enough to travel from the South to the North, from the East to the West, to cover fantastic weddings and events. Now after fantastic 365 days, I could finally dedicate my time to choose my favourite snaps and share them with you!

Couples

Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to the brides and grooms, who trusted me to shoot their weddings. It was an absolute pleasure to be there for you. Thank you ever so much. Also, I want to appreciate my fellow photographers whom I have had the pleasure to work with so far. Guys, I adore every opportunity we have to be for each other! I greatly value your work and thank all of you! Let’s hope that 2018 will be as good or even better for all of us!

Venues

My last year’s weddings were in some incredible venues, like The Paintworks in Bristol – which is a stunning place for creative minds; an unconventional and relaxing Nordic Tipi reception in Amersham, and the fantastic Secret River Garden in Teddington! Well, I also need to mention Tewin Barn with their 17th Century Tythe Barn, which is a feast for the photographer’s eye. Last but not least, I had a chance to work in a team of three at a beautiful wedding in Majorca where the sunsets are simply remarkable!

All these incredible weddings, with opportunities to make great shots in such picturesque places. So many happy couples who can enjoy the photos of their special days. And for me? Wonderful memories which make me smile over a glass of wine while getting ready for the season of 2018. Cheers!

I still have a limited number of available dates for 2018 so if you like what you’ve seen, do get in touch!
