Fun and intimate New Years Eve wedding with Kim and Dave
I’ve known Kim and Dave for years through the entertainment agency we used to work together. When they have asked me to photograph their New Years Eve wedding, I couldn’t even begin to express my excitement.
Kim has decided to get ready at the comfort of her own house, surrounded by her family. With Christmas trees, cards and carols in the background, bridal preparations mode was fully on! Prosecco for breakfast, laughs and giggles for lunch! Evie and I even got to challenge each other at sonic – and yes she beat me! Everyone was so relaxed and jolly. When Kim’s hair and makeup had the perfect finish, it was the time to put her gown on!
They have decided to have an intimate ceremony at Archbishop’s Palace in Maidstone, Kent. It’s a fascinating place with breathtaking interiors. Dave was nervously waiting for his bride at the altar, and his hands were shaking. When Kim walked down the aisle with her brothers, Dave was in tears. The civil ceremony was kept short and entertained by Evie’s Disney poem.
The reception felt like a fairy tale with checkered dance floor, wedding cake topped with Mickey and Minnie, clock table centrepieces and Cinderella styled first dance. Oh, and let’s not forget about the super fun photobooth made by Kim’s brother!
Of course, what is a New Years Eve wedding without fireworks?! Kim and Dave did prepare for this matter, and together with guests, we have set up a sparkly tunnel. They have celebrated the New Year with a new way to live! Congratulations guys! It was a pleasure to be there for you.

Columbian wedding of Monica and Renan
A super emotional Columbian wedding with cheeky samba moves..
Every girl’s dream is to wear a white dress, walk down the aisle and finally marry their prince. Monica and Renan were no different, and their Columbian wedding was nothing else but beautiful! They seemed like the most graceful people, and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding and watch them dance the samba!
From the moment I have walked into Monica’s house, I knew that day would be extraordinary! Imagine eight stunning women and two cutest girls running around, making sure every little detail is perfect and ready to make its way down to the church. It was lovely and full of fun to spend my morning with all those ladies. While Monica was having her dress tightened, she said “do me up as the did it in Titanic” – defiantly made me chuckle! If I had to pick one moment from my time there, this would be it!
The day
St Francis de Sales R.C church looked magical! Fantastic interior with really high ceiling and room for hundreds of people. Monica and Renan decided to perform their marriage vows in front of their family and close friends and later celebrated with confetti showers.
The wedding reception took place at Grand Palace in London, which they’d decorated with peach and white details. Their three-tier wedding cake was full of sparkling gems, and the cake topper looked exactly like Monica and Renan. It was gorgeous.
It was a cold yet bright day, which was what the couple had hoped for in December. While the guests hung around drinking a bubble, we wandered off to Alexandra Palace for creative portraits of the newlyweds and their bridal party. My favourite photo from our portrait session is the one where Monica is about to kiss Renan with the bright white light behind them. It looked so magical.
After the meal there were a few heart-melting speeches, father-daughter dance, then the couple had their first dance, and the party have officially kicked. Once samba kicked off – the dancefloor was fully on!

Great Gatsby themed wedding at Paintworks Bristol.
Paige and Ryan got married at the Paintworks, Bristol, late in the summer. It was such a unique wedding, I loved all the little 1920s details and outfits. Peaky Blinders came to rule the southwest of England.
Getting ready
Paige and the girls got ready at the Paintworks lofts that were also conveniently close to the vending venue. At first, none of us knew what Paige was going to wear. As a medical assistant in the Royal Navy, we could only speculate whether it would be her gala uniform or wedding gown. After the bridal party got into their golden sequin dresses, Paige made an entrance in her beautiful honey-kissed silky dress.
The ceremony
The ceremony and reception were held at The Paintworks event space. Great location for creative souls. Paige and Ryan went for the Gatsby look and feel. Ryan stood by the altar in his military gala uniform, so nervous but also excited to see his wife-to-be, Paige. The ceremony began with Paige’s siblings walking down the aisle holding signs ‘Here comes the bride’ and ‘Last chance to run!’. The whole room shared the giggle. It was a touching ceremony, full of exciting laughs and wild hand squeezes.
After the ceremony, guests have showered the newlyweds with confetti – I love this part! Then we took a couple of group photographs and a few couple portraits. At the same time, everyone else was enjoying themselves in the courtyard.
The reception
After the ceremony, the groom has changed to his outfit from gala uniform to Gatsby like waistcoats with sleeve bands. Ladies, however, dressed in flapper styled dresses with sparkly headpieces. Paige and Ryan chose to have their wedding at Paintworks Bristol because it’s an open space with lots of possibilities for personalisation.
I had so much fun shooting this one of a kind wedding, and I really hope for more of these in the future!

An intimate wedding at Berkhamsted Town Hall – Gemma and Matthew
This lovely family of three stole my heart from the very beginning.
Gemma and Matthew got married at the historic town hall in Berkhamsted. It was a beautiful, unique wedding, with so much colour everywhere it made everybody fall in love. The couple has been together for years, and they have brought up a beautiful baby girl who was also the flower girl on the day.
Gemma got ready at home with her family, and there was such an exciting but also a calm vibe. She wore a beautiful dress with a lacey corset that made her look like a queen. The whole party then drove down to Berkhamsted town hall to meet Matthew at the altar.
The ceremony area was filled with smiles and laughter, which was so perfect because it was a lovely sunny day. Gemma walked down the aisle to meet Matthew at the altar. They were then joined by their daughter. After all, they are a family of three, so it was only right for her to be their closest witness! It was a moving celebration, full of nervous giggles and excited handshakes & cuddles.
The Reception
Then the couple mingled with their guests, which was the perfect time for me to get candid photos. I got some enjoyable guest photos as everyone was so much fun and loved having their picture taken – especially after all the little people! The weather was all sunshine and blue skies, it was a gorgeous day.
Gemma and Matthew chose to have their wedding at the Berkhamsted Town Hall because it’s close to their home and what’s more comforting than your own neighbourhood. Berkhamsted Town Hall has been carefully restored and renovated to provide both yesterday and the modern conveniences of today.
Everyone was called in for the wedding breakfast, which was a rost – literally winning! They had speeches after the meal, which were really funny – the dad made everyone laugh-cry! After the meal was finished, they cut this most colourful cake, and the party kicked off. The live band played all the best songs to get everyone dancing.
